IT’S PKAVS CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY!!
We love an excuse to get all festive at T’Go Creative and the PKAVS Christmas Jumper Day is the perfect excuse to get the jingly jumpers out of storage.
We have added two members to the creative team since last year, which means another two joyfull jumpers in this years photo. Arthur wanted in on the action too (although did take some bribery) and before anybody wants to point it out . . . . yes I have the same jumper on as last year!
Although it’s a bit of fun, it also has a serious side for PKAVS.
Over Christmas, PKAVS are asking for help – the vital work PKAVS performs cannot continue without the public’s support, they need you to help them raise over £12,000 this festive period, either by donating directly or getting involved in their ‘12 Dates’ in the run up to Christmas and donating £1 to PKAVS. They have lots of schools & local businesses taking part this year and if you get involved don’t forget to send them your pics so they can share the lovely jumpers!
More information on the PKAVS Christmas Jumper Day and the PKAVS 12 Days of Christmas can be found below.

PKAVS is a dynamic charity with a Big Heart – from carers young and old, to adults recovering from mental ill-health, minority communities, and voluntary groups – we work tirelessly across Perth & Kinross to improve wellbeing, connect communities, and help people realise their potential.
This year we have enhanced over 5,000 peoples’ lives through the support, advice, and encouragement our dedicated staff and volunteers provide on a daily basis.

“If it wasn’t for the support provided by young carers we as a family would be very stuck, the support, advice, help, fortnightly groups, holiday trips and lifts to and from groups we would be lost and not function very well. All of this helps to maintain some balance in my children’s lives. This means that they are not just carers, they can have their childhood back.”
“Thank you for this wonderful lifeline.”
“I’m really happy that there is someone like Marlena and such organisation as PKAVS, because arriving here without a good command of English and without friends is really tough. Marlena helped me a lot with many enquiries I had and while attending appointments I also learned a lot about my rights and my responsibilities. Beside that it’s a nice and friendly person always trying to help out quickly.”
“I think that I can move forward and I am not as scared about my future as in the beginning.”
“Now that I’ve had all of this benefit through PKAVS I’m not as frightened of the future.”
“From when I first started I feel more able to talk to people and have more confidence going to new places, I don’t know, I just feel happier in having a place to go to where I can just be me.”
