The T’Go Creative team had a great week with working with teenager Paige, a 3rd year pupil at Perth Academy. Paige approached us to carry put some work experience at the start of September. Paige is studying Graphic Communication and Art & Design at School and very interested in a career in graphic design.
Paige helped throughout the whole studio, from printing and pressing t-shirts (including her own) creating mood boards for packaging, designing business cards, flyer and menus. Printing and finishing of gift vouchers, business cards and flyers. Also learning about how T’Go creative build bespoke websites and the process it takes to design these.
She was a great asset during her time in the studio.
Its exciting to see young people so enthusiastic about the design and print business.

Dear T’Go Team,
Thank you so much for having me for my work experience. I had a really fun week and learned so much.
It was great to see how everyone worked together and how designs are developed from a brief. I also learned how t-shirts are designed and printed and how to use the machines and software. I enjoyed getting to see how logos are created and how websites are made. I learned some useful keyboard shortcuts and the importance of font, formatting and bleeds. I loved making mood boards for the honey label, editing business cards and creating the Cutting Room menu.
Thank you for letting me design and make my AJR t-shirt. I love it! I’ve attached the video I made (with one of their songs in the background!)
It was really amazing to meet such a lovely team who made me feel welcome the whole time.
I hope very much that I can come and see you again some time if you ever need any extra help, even with ordering vouchers!
Thanks again for all your kindness.
Paige
